Gary and Susan Seago welcome you to Ashley Creek Horse Company, home of Khysus Arabian Horses and Seago's American Quarter Horses, located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of South Central Missouri.
Khysus Arabian Horses was established in 1973, beginning with the purchase of the Arabian mare P.J. Silver Kay. She has since earned the honor of multiple Produce of Dam Champion and is represented by four generations of breeding age females on our farm. A second mare, A.A. Tyffany, with multiple halter successes and beautiful old Egyptian breeding, was also purchased and both mares have served to make quite a lasting influence.
The stallion, A.A. Aly Khyzann, was purchased soon after. He sired 73 registered purebred arabians in his lifetime. His is a lifes testimony to Travelers Rest Arabian Horses and his breeder Margaret Dickinson Fleming thru his living descendants. A.A. Aly Khyzann is tail female to the only surviving descent to Kafifan thru his daughter *Mattaria.
The family tree of the arabian horse has many international branches. Our unity comes from our common deep roots. Although some branches are members of select breeding groups, beautiful arabians are bred all over the world and its no wonder for they share common ancestorial roots that unite them all.
There were great desert bred arabians of old that influence us still today. One of these was Bint Yamama, tail female to Ghazieh. Her descents have been represented thru breeding programs world wide. This breeding element is a widely influential one in crossing barriers of international pedigrees. The Manial breeding stud of Egypt provided foundation stock to the Weil-Marbach stud of Germany, Count Potocki of Poland, and the Royal Agriculture society. In this country thru the early imports of Dickinson, Babson and Brown. This breeding element is widely influential later thru the likes of Gainey, Al-Marah and Shalimar to list a few. They are the foundation stones of many select breeding groups including the Pyramid Society, all carry much of the Bint Yamama influence.
We celebrate their passage into the 21st Century with dedication to the preservation of these foundation bloodlines.
As A.A. Aly Khyzanns daughters grew in number and became breeding age mares a second stallion, Seven Springs Olympus, was purchased in turn to complement their uniformly genetic needs. He has proven to have a predominant genetic influence with his strong Showronek linebreeding including two crosses to Ferzon, one cross to Naborr and three crosses to Serafix.
Whether you are in the market for the genetic attributes for a specific discipline, breeding stock, or family trail companion, we would love to show you what we have available. Our offer to the Arabian Horse Community is old world quality for old fashioned value.
